
SUMMIT HAS FIRST CERTIFIED SLEEP SPECIALISTS IN TENNESSEE
September 11, 2009 Summit Medical Center is proud to announce that two staff members in the Summit Center for Sleep Health are certified as Sleep Disorder Specialists by The National Board of Respiratory Care. Helen Lois Stanfill, RRT-SDS, CPFT, RPSGT and Donna Lovitt RRT-SDS, RPSGT recently chose to participate in a worldwide program on sleep disorders and therapeutic intervention. They are the first two specialists in Tennessee to be certified Sleep Disorder Specialists. Both Stanfill and Lovitt are registered Polysomnographic Technologists and Registered Respiratory Therapists.
